Wellness Day Tips

Tuesday, February 16, will serve as Auburn University's first of three Wellness Days for the 2021 Spring semester.

Just as Dr. Woodard, the Senior VP of Student Affairs said, 
"Tomorrow marks the first Wellness Day of the semester. Wellness Days are intended to give you a day off to rest and recharge. During an academic year unlike any other, you deserve it.”

This Wellness Day, Panhellenic has compiled a list of the top 5 ways to spend a mental health day. 
  1. Get a good night's rest and maybe even squeeze in a mid-day nap 
  2. Fuel your body with yummy and healthy meals 
  3. Reflect on your week and plan for upcoming days
  4. Move your body in any way you choose! (A walk or a yoga class are some of our favs)
  5. Have an intentional conversation about your physical and mental wellness with your friends, family, or both!

If we treat ourselves well, we are sure to treat others well also! Enjoy your first Wellness Day and don't forget to take care of yourself!! :)
