"I am a junior studying Biomedical Sciences with a minor in business hoping to attend dental school. I am also a fourth-generation Auburn student from Virginia! Despite being deeply rooted in Auburn tradition, going to school far away from home was still challenging. Being in a sorority brought so much comfort during this transition and has been one of the biggest blessings of college. It is so easy to get lost in the rigor and competitive nature of academics, but being a member of the Panhellenic community has allowed me to cultivate lifelong friendships and has helped me experience the fullness of college. My sorority has also encouraged me to get involved in several different organizations on campus and the community.
One of my favorite organizations is Mercy Medical Clinic. Through this organization, I volunteer to help widen access to health care to the underserved in Auburn’s community. Additionally, I am a Project Uplift mentor with one of my best friends since Freshman year. I also recently got to plan Homecoming through Omicron Delta Kappa which was a ton of fun! I have researched at Harrison School of Pharmacy focusing on ocular drug delivery and I am currently researching mental health through the Honors College.
I am so thankful to have been surrounded by such a supportive community for the past 2.5 years and I cannot wait to see what the rest of my time at Auburn brings!"
