The month of September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Suicide is a major health crisis in America and according to the CDC, 54% of Americans have been affected by suicide. Suicide can have lasting effects on families, friends, and communities. Below is a list of on and/or off campus resources that Auburn lists to support the mental health, physical health, and well-being of the campus community.
College can be a difficult transition, not to mention the COVID-19 pandemic and other recent world events that have happened over the course of 2020. As Director of Health and Wellness, I’m very passionate not only about physical health, but mental health, and I wanted to make these resources known to the women of Panhellenic. These past few months have been very isolating and overwhelming. Remember, there are people available to help you and you are not alone! If you or someone you know needs support or services, please contact one of the numbers below.
