Abbey serves as Panhellenic's Executive Vice President.
Why did you apply for Panhellenic Exec?
I applied for Panhellenic exec because, I wanted to try as best I could to give back to an organization who has given so much to me during my time at Auburn. During my time at Auburn I have be blessed to be surrounded by such an impressive group of women and I wanted to continue to be a part of the organization by allowing myself to grow along side of the incredible leaders that are members of the Panhellenic community. Also Panhellenic is made up of so many incredible women who bring so much to the table and that has been such a blessing to keep learning from them while being on Exec this year.
What is your favorite part about your position?
My favorite part about serving in my position this year has been, getting to form relationships with each chapter’s delegates. I have loved getting to know each girl individually and getting to learn more about what their chapters are passionate about while getting to also assist in catering to the needs of each chapter within Panhellenic.
What was your recruitment experience like and what is one of your biggest tips for women going through recruitment?
My recruitment experience was a whirlwind! One piece of advice I would have for women going into recruitment is.. RELAX and enjoy it! Throughout the week keep reminding yourself that you will end up where you are supposed to and rest in knowing that truth. Also remember that the women around you love you and want to support you during this crazy week so lean into that truth during the week.
