Auburn University Panhellenic Scholarships

A guide to the Auburn Panhellenic scholarships from the 2018 Director of Scholarship, MB Smith. ​​

​Each scholarship requires that the applicant complete the AUSOM application. After she does so, the applicant must email her resume to the Director of Scholarship, MB Smith, and Cc the Administrative Vice President, Lauren Spiwak, in the email. MB's email is mbs0039@tigermail.auburn.edu and Lauren’s is lms0048@tigermail.auburn.edu. Each scholarship is worth $1000. All applications are due Thursday, February the 1st at 4:45 pm. 
 
The Deborah Lee Shaw Scholarship 
Qualifications: This scholarship is presented based on the recipient’s involvement within her sorority and Panhellenic. She must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be an active member in her sorority. 
Additional steps: 
  • Complete the 200-500 word essay about why you are deserving of the Deborah Lee Shaw Scholarship. This will be done through AUSOM. 
  • When you email your resume, make the subject line “Deborah Lee Shaw Scholarship."

​The Jill Moore Martin Endowed Scholarship
Qualifications: This scholarship is based on the recipient’s financial need. GPA may be taken into consideration. The recipient must also be an active member in her sorority. 
Additional steps: 
  • In your email to the Director of Scholarship, attach a brief explanation of your financial situation and why you are deserving of a need-based scholarship. Include information about any financial aid or scholarships you are currently receiving. 
  • When you email your resume and statement, make the subject line “Jill Moore Martin Endowed Scholarship.”

​The Katherine Cooper Cater Student Affairs Endowed Scholarship
 
Qualifications: This scholarship is based on the recipient’s grade point average as well as her display of leadership and involvement in both sorority and campus activities. She must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be an active member in her sorority. 
Additional steps: 
  • When you email your resume, make the subject line “Katherine Cooper Cater Scholarship.” 
 
The Panhellenic Council Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship 
Qualifications: This scholarship will be given to a sorority member who has a GPA above the all-sorority average, which is a 3.32. It will provide for a student participating in an Auburn University Study Abroad program. Special consideration will be given to women who demonstrate committed involvement in their sorority or the Auburn Panhellenic community. An interviewee will need to describe how this experience can help her achieve academically as well as how the experience can benefit her in her chosen career. 
Additional steps: 
  • Complete the 200-500 word essay through AUSOM. Describe yourself, where you hope to/will be studying abroad, and explain why you are deserving of the Auburn Panhellenic Study Abroad Scholarship. 
  • When you email your resume, make the subject line “Panhellenic Study Abroad Scholarship.” 
 
The Panhellenic Endowed Scholarship 
Qualifications: This scholarship is presented based on the recipient’s financial need, her grade point average, and her involvement in both sorority and campus activities. 
Additional steps: 
  • In your email to the Director of Scholarship, attach a brief explanation of your financial situation and why you are deserving of a need-based scholarship. Include information about any financial aid or scholarships you are currently receiving.
  • When you email your resume and statement, make the subject line “Panhellenic Endowed Scholarship.”

If you wants to get scholarship to school, colleges or university then you have to write a scholarship essays and application for approval.
