In honor of 90 years of Panhellenic on Auburn University’s campus, each week Panhellenic will be spotlighting one chapter of our 18 sororities.
This week we will be featuring the Alpha Beta chapter of Chi Omega.
Chi Omega’s symbols are the owl and the skull and crossbones. Their colors are cardinal and straw. Chi Omega was chartered on Auburn’s campus on September 9, 1923.
Chi Omega hosts several philanthropy events every year in the fall and spring semesters.
The Alpha Beta chapter of Chi Omega has raised over $640,000 for their philanthropy, Make-A-Wish. Chi Omega is also the top fundraising chapter for Make-A-Wish in the state of Alabama.
Chi O Cookout, Chi O Carnival, Cupcakes with Chi O and Wish Week are all events which fundraise for their philanthropy.
The Alpha Beta chapter of Chi Omega was recently awarded the Founder’s Cup in the summer of 2018, which is given to the Top 5 Chi Omega chapters in the nation.
