In honor of 90 years of Panhellenic on Auburn University’s campus, each week Panhellenic will be spotlighting one chapter of our 18 sororities.
This week we will be featuring Alpha Xi Delta.
Alpha Xi Delta’s colors are double blue and gold. Their motto is “Realizing Your Potential”. Alpha Xi Delta was chartered on Auburn’s campus in 1980.
Alpha Xi Delta hosts two philanthropy events every year in the fall and spring semesters.
Alpha Xi Delta hosts Illuminate, a pop-up shop held in the Alpha Xi Delta chapter room.
All philanthropy event proceeds go to Autism Speaks, Alpha Xi Delta’s philanthropy.
Alpha Xi Delta also hosts Shine On. Because April is Autism Awareness month, the sisters of Alpha Xi Delta partner with organizations such as Best Buddies to host a pizza party on Cater Lawn in order to raise awareness.
Alpha Xi Delta has been awarded the Letter’s of Love Top Fundraising Chapter in 2017-2018, raising the most amount of proceeds through their letters of love campaign to be donated to Autism Speaks. Alpha Xi Delta was also awarded the Changing the Future Award in 2017-2018. The Zeta Xi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was awarded this award for its philanthropic efforts and community outreach.
Alpha Xi Delta inspires its members to “reach their potential” by offering a sisterhood that supports and encourages them to be the best version of themselves in all aspects of life.
Welcome to our blog! Here Panhellenic will highlight the activities of all 18 of our sisterhoods.
