Congratulations to our 2018 Pi Chi's!!!
On Thursday night, hundreds of Auburn students gathered in the Village for Pi Chi callouts. Callouts are a tradition unique to Auburn. After applying and interviewing for an organization, applicants gather behind Cater Hall to learn if they have been chosen for membership.
The women chosen will serve as counselors during Recruitment in the Fall. Pi Chi's undergo training all throughout the Spring semester and then disaffiliate from their sororities at the beginning of the summer. They serve as role models, leaders, and friends to Potential New Members.
Members of REB and Exec lined up and shouted out the 124 names of the 2018 Pi Chi's. Afterwords, the women who were selected got to celebrate with cupcakes and cow tags (another Auburn tradition).
Congratulations, ladies! We cannot wait to watch y'all lead in August!
Meet your 2018 Head Pi Chi and Assistant Pi Chis! These 3 are responsible for selecting and training our Recruitment counselors. Those chosen to serve as Pi Chis undergo both training in the spring as well as Pre-Recruitment training in the fall.
